Taoist Oil has its origin in the E Mei Mountain's Chun Yang Taoist Temple. For centuries, the temple secretly held Dr. Sun Si Miao's analgesic herbal formulas, which were regarded by Taoists as sacred medicine. Sun Si Miao's formulas are reputed to be superior for muscles and joint pain and are legendary.
Sun Si Miao's pain formulas were traditionally indicated for:
- acute or chronic joint and tendon pains
- acute or chronic back pain
- chronic injuries from falls and blows
Taoist Oil is the result of repeated clinical trials with one of Sun Si Miao's Warming and Cold dispersing formulas. This very warming formulation was traditionally indicated for Cold Bi Syndrome.
Directions: Apply to affected area once or twice daily. It is unnecessary to rub or work the liniment into the skin. To test for skin hypersensitivity, apply a small amount onto the skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Warnings:
• For external use only, avoid contact with the eyes.
• Use only as directed. Keep out of reach of children.
• If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
• Discontinue use if and seek medical advice if condition worsens, symptoms persists for more than 7 days, symptoms clear up and occur again within a few days, or if excessive irritation of the skin develops.
Active Ingredients: menthol 15%
Inactive Ingredients: zanthoxylum nitidum, myrrh tincture, capsicum frutescens, caryophylli flos, in an alcohol base.
